The Essex-Ringing email list is an email list hosted by Yahoo! groups. In order to send messages to or receive messages from the list, you must first sign up for a Yahoo! ID. You do not need to create a Yahoo! email address. (The sign-up page gives you this option).
The EACR-Notices email list is a separate list that is used for announcements only. At present, only Association and District officers can post to this list, but anybody is welcome to join it to receive news items as they are published. We hope this will make it more acceptable to members than a "chat" list.
